Snapchat May let you Add Bitstrips to photos and videos. As Snapchat is reportedly acquire Bitstrips, the Toronto-based maker of personalized emojis known as bitmojis for $100 Million.

Bitstrips was originally founded in 2007 to help users build personalized digital comics. It lets users create comics starring themselves and friends. You can choose from personalization options like hair style and clothing, and choose granular facial features like shape and facial hair options.

Snapchat is not commented on the acquisition of Bitmojis. It is also not entirely clear why Snapchat wants Bitmoji. But it seems snapchat is going to provide more options to decorate their photos and videos.
