Sony Xperia Z5 and Z3+ Marshmallow update rolling out in India

Sony starts rolling out Android Marshmallow update in Japan last week and now Sony Xperia India tweets that the update is rolling out on India devices. The update has first hit the Xperia Z5, and weighs around 1,280MB. It brings enhanced performance, a new camera interface and more.

The update is the same one which has rolled out earlier in Japan and some other regions of the globe. It includes the Android February Security Patch along with Android 6.0 marshmallow with features like Doze mode, app permissions, and Google Now on Tap. There’s also a new Sony launcher in this update. It also comes with some changes in the user interface and improvements across the board.

As usual marshmallow update is rolling out gradually, if you didn’t get the OTA yet don’t worry and keep checking manually by going through the Settings>>About Phone>> software update. People who have updated their device do tell us about your experiences via comments
