Take a good look at the live Huawei Mate 10 before today’s launch

It’s a day for Huawei today as the company prepares to launch the Mate 10. The premium phablet handset itself has been leaked the hell out in the recent month. And just today, we have some HD images that literally leave nothing to the imagination. The images are of a live Mate 10 with its retail packaging. And the design concurs to what we’ve seen from credible leaks countless times.

The most remarkable design change is the back thick strip of colours that run at the place of the Leica branded cameras. It is a bit similar to the Pixel 2 XL. The whole rear is glossy and curved at the edges. There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and surprisingly a home button too at the front. This means that we are not seeing an 18:9 aspect ratio display on the Mate 10. That is big news. Especially considering flagships have the thin bezels. Also, the panel is Full HD.

Not to spoil the show, the Mate 10 is shown running Android Oreo with EMUI 8.0, not 6.0. A screenshot also reveals the potent Kirin 970 and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage. There is little time to wait if you are eager to know the full details. So, we suggest, for now just feast on these pics. Talk around the rumour mill is it will be priced at 4,299 Yuan (`$655).
