We have a render of the tablet as well as specs too. Looking at the design, not much has changed from the previous iteration. It’s still as rugged as before but the changes are all inside. The Tab Active 2 will allegedly sport a 1.6 GHz Exynos 7880 CPU, and 3 GB RAM. 16 GB storage space is in tow with the display expected to be an 8-inch LCD HD panel.
Other notable leaked components include the rear camera pegged to be 8 MP and the front to be a 5 MP shooter. There is a 4,450 mAh battery which will supply the voltage to this hardware. The tablet will also come with LTE, fingerprint reader and Bluetooth 4.2.

What separates this tablet from the herd is the compatibility with third-party accessories via a POGO pin. Also, a dedicated software development kit especially for corporate class consumers. The Tab Active 2 is speculated to launch before the end of the year with a price tag of at least $500.
