Tegra X1 Superchip Unveiled In CES 2015

Gamers always wanted a faster chipset and faster cores to run the games as smooth as worldly possible.And after , NVIDIA Tegra K1 wowed them with its high performance which was released on previous CES. NVIDIA is back with Tegra X1 in CES 2015.

Packed with the latest Maxwell GPU architecture, the new Tegra X1 includes an 8-core setup and a 64-bit architecture which leaves Apple’s A8X or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 behind on all grounds.In terms of specs, the Tegra X1 sports an 8-core 64-bit CPU that is paired with the 256-core Maxwell GPU.The chip is told to be able to handle 4K video in smooth 60 fps rates in H.265 or VP9 formats.

To prove the performance NVIDIA showed Unreal Engine 4’s “Elemental” demo running, in real time, on the chip with the same fidelity and quality that you would experience if it were run on a more powerful desktop gaming rig.Tegra X1 promises not only power but power efficiency without compromising on quality.To know more about CES 2015 stay tuned and be sure to comment above your opinion.
