TWRP now supports the Galaxy A20/A30, 2019 SHIELD TV, and Realme 6/7

TWRP is a recovery-level UI packed with extensive features to make rooting easier for you. It provides a safety net when things go wrong while flashing ROMs, kernels, and other software. The popular custom recovery team has just released official TWRP versions for some devices: Samsung Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, Realme 6, Realme 7, and the 2019 NVIDIA SHIELD TV.

The model owners will now be able to install the custom recovery and start the installation of third-party mods and custom ROMs. Along with this, they can even make NANDroid backups of system and data, sideload software, modify systems, and a lot more.

Though the devices already had the unofficial versions of TWRP available, but making it official brings support from the team in case of lack. Moreover, the users will receive timely official updates bringing more features to the device.

Talking about the devices, Samsung announced Galaxy A20 and the Galaxy A30 in 2019 with Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. Galaxy A20 is powered by the Exynos 7884 coupled with 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM. It features a dual rear camera module consisting of a 13MP primary and a 5MP ultrawide lens. At the front, the device houses an 8MP primary snapper. Whereas, the Galaxy A30 equips Exynos 7904 with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM. It carries a 16MP primary camera and a 5MP ultrawide shooter while the front indulges a 16MP sensor.

The Realme 6 and Realme 7 debuted in 2020 fueled by Android 10, Realme UI with up to 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. Under the hood, the smartphones fit Mediatek Helio G90T and Mediatek Helio G95 respectively. Realme 6 stores a quad-camera setup at the back comprising of a 64MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and a couple of 2MP lenses to measure macro and depth point. On the other side, it has a single 16MP shooter. Realme 7 camera configuration is similar except for the 48MP primary lens at the rear.

At last, 2019 launched NVIDIA SHIELD TV ships with an Nvidia Tegra X1+ processor and Android TV.
