Xiaomi announces its Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, and Redmi 6 Pro in India

Considering per annum sales we can say that Xiaomi is currently leading the Indian market. One of the main strategies behind their success is that they keep on updating their smartphone list. Recently they’ve introduced Pocophone F1 in the mid-flagship market and this time some new launches have happened from their side in the budget category. Xiaomi has just updated its Redmi-series by launching three new handsets namely: Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Redmi 6 Pro. So let’s check out more about them.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A

The device comes powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 Chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. It will be made available in two variants: 16GB ROM and 32GB ROM. Luckily both variants support expandable storage. In the front, it has a 5.45(inch) HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio IPS Display. In the Camera department, it offers a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash whereas in the front a 5MP snapper is given. It runs on a 3000mAh battery and comes with MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The handset is priced at 5,999 INR(16GB ROM) and 6,999 INR(32GB ROM).

The smartphone comes powered by a powerful MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset will be made available in two variants: 32GB ROM and 64GB ROM. The device supports expandable storage through SD-card. In the front, a 5.45(inch) HD+ IPS Display is there. It offers a 12MP+5MP Dual-Camera setup in the rear while in the front a 5MP shooter is present. The handset runs on a 3000mAh battery and runs on MIUI 9. The handset is priced at 7,999 INR(32GB ROM) and 9,499 INR(64GB ROM).

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro

Redmi 6 Pro comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The smartphone will be made available in two variants: 3GB RAM+32GB ROM and 4GB RAM+64GB ROM. Both variants luckily support expandable storage via micro-SD card. In the Display section, it offers a 5.84(inch) Full HD+ IPS Display. It houses a 12MP+5MP Dual-Camera setup in the rear whereas in the front a 5MP selfie shooter is there. The handset runs on a massive 4000mAh battery and runs on MIUI 9 out of the box. The smartphone is priced at 10,999 INR(3GB RAM+32GB ROM) and 12,999 INR(4GB RAM+64GB ROM).
