Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro goes Official with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC

A fresh smartphone from the house of Xiaomi was appearing on the internet for a long. Now finally the brand has unveiled the much awaited budget-centric device known as the Redmi 6 Pro. It is the only smartphone in Redmi-series that comes with a Display notch. With this smartphone, Xiaomi has tried to decrease the gap between a premium and a budget device. The price and specs related information are out now so let’s check out more about it.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is a Dual-SIM handset and comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU for Gaming. The device will be made available in three variants: 3GB RAM+32GB ROM, 4GB RAM+32GB ROM, and 4GB RAM+64GB ROM. Luckily the handset supports expandable storage via micro-SD card. The handset runs on MIUI 10 based on the Android 8.1 Oreo. For security, it possesses a Fingerprint Scanner and an AI-based Face Recognition.

In the front, Redmi 6 Pro has a 5.84(inch) Full HD+ IPS Display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio. In the Camera segment, it has a 12MP+5MP rear snappers with PDAF, Aperture f/2.2, LED Flash whereas in the front it has a 5MP selfie shooter. It gets juice from a massive 4000mAh battery. It has all miscellaneous features including 4G connectivity, IR Blaster, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, etc. The device is launched in 4 color options including Rose Gold, Gold, Blue, Black, and Red colors.
