Youtube Android App Update Brings Streaming From 144p to 720p

Google has rolled out new version of the Youtube App and now it stands to version 5.7. It received many new features from the Google along with some performance improvements. The biggest one is that you can now stream videos in different qualities.

Earlier the streaming qualities were adjusted between HQ and non HQ which didn’t allowed them to watch videos as per their ease or connection speed. Now this update has brought great respite for those users who have low bandwidth internet connections. So overall, Youtube is now offering more flexibility and transparency, by letting users choose between several resolutions, from 144p to 4K.

This new feature will allow users to save their data connections consumption. Now Youtube will offer streaming options between 144p, 240p, 320p and 720p. You can download the update from third party as currently the update is not available in the Play Store.
