Apple Released iOS 6.1.1 To Increase Cellular Performance Of 4S

The US smartphone giant recently launched a supplemental update to iOS 6.1 for enhancing the performance of cellular modes of iPhone 4S. It was released on 6th February, which was made freely available to iPhone 4S owners.

The update is not meant for the other versions of iPhone and voice call enabled iPads. Along with its increased reliability the update also brought some limiting features for some network service providers, like Vodafone, which mentioned that the new technology was creating hindrances while texting or making a call. Some issues relating to Apple’s mail app and MS exchange were also discovered, which lead some IT companies to block the devices updated to it.
