Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom starts getting Android 7.1.1 Nougat

Asus is rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat on its Zenfone 3 Zoom. It was launched earlier this year with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Coming back to this update, it comes with software version V 20.31.49.2.

The update includes all the basic Nougat goodies like New Multi-window allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side. More personalized settings and smarter notifications allow users to be more productive with less effort. It also includes the enhanced version of Doze.

The update is rolling out over the air so if the notification doesn’t appear on your phone. Don’t panic it will reach in couple of days. However, we recommends you that you should charge your phone up to 50% before start installing the update.

For a reminder, Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom features a 5.5inch Full HD AMOLED display, it is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage is expandable via MicroSD card. It is packed with  Dual cameras Sony 12MP IMX362 sensor and 8 MP front camera. The phone is backed up by the 5000mAh battery  and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
