ASUS Zenfone Max Gets the OTA Update to Fix LTE Mobile Data

Asus starts rolling out a small Update to its Zenfone Max. The update will fix the random disconnect of LTE Mobile data on the phone. The update comes with software version 13.8.26.80. It is currently hitting the Indian Zenfone Max units.

In addition, the new firmware also includes updates to several apps. And finally the phone also gains support for the India SOS call. As this is the OTA update the company says it will take a week to roll out this update on every device. SO don’t panic if you did not get the notification of update yet. Meanwhile you can always check the update by going through the setting of your phone.

For a reminder, Asus Zenfone Max is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expandable upto 64 GB via MicroSD card. IT features a 5.5-inch 720p display, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and Phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Moreover Zenfone Max comes in two variants with 2GB or 3GB RAM variants. However the main highlight of the phone is its massive 5000 mAh battery.
