Chrome Beta Updated With Full Screen Mode And Much More

Google has rolled out update to its Chrome beta For Android. New version of the Beta Chrome includes various new enhancements and features. Chrome beta version 27.0.1453.49 is packed with a slew of updates, including a new feature for tablets.

Chrome beta 27 provides full screen on phones – when you scroll down toolbar it automatically disappears and scrolling up will reinstate it on the top. Google has also made searching on new version of Chrome easier and useful – Now when you search by typing any query in the omnibox, query will be visible to you instead of being replaced with a web address upon searching.

Some other changes are as below:

  • Client-side certificate support – You can now access sites that require you to use a certificate and Chrome will allow you to select an installed certificate
  • Tab history on tablets – Long press the browser back button to view your tab history

Some bugs are also reported in which some lag and page flicker, as well as duplicate history items are main.
