Fossil Q Founder Smartwatch will Get Android Wear 2.0 in March

Fossil is going to roll out Android Wear 2.0 update to its Q Founder in March. The company has replied to a user who is asking when the Q Founder will get updated to Android Wear 2.0? In reply to the query Fossil says that the update will be rolled out in mid March.

Android Wear 2.0 was launched earlier this month. The LG Watch Sport and Style are first ones which comes with the latest Android Wear out of the box. Coming back to Fossil now according to the Fossil’s reply on twitter Q Founder will be first one to get Android wear 2.0. Currently, the only other confirmed rollout period for Android Wear 2.0 is for ASUS ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3, which is scheduled for Q2 of this year.

Google has unveil the Android Wear 2.0 in February 2017. Since than users are waiting for the update. With Android Wear 2.0 you can use the standalone apps on your smartwatches. Earlier we have to install a native app on our phones also if we want to use it on our smartwatches. Furthermore, watch faces are now much more customizable and can be modified using information from apps and even shortcuts to direct actions.
