Galaxy M51 launch imminent, production begins in India

Samsung may soon launch Galaxy M51 in India whose production has already begun in the world’s biggest smartphone factory located in Noida. Going by a report by 91Mobiles, the South Korean electronics giant may skip the Galaxy M50 altogether in order to line with its other 2020 smartphones with ‘1’ moniker.

Earlier in 2019, Samsung replaced the Galaxy J and Galaxy On series of smartphones with the Galaxy M series and an overhauled Galaxy A series. The former is an online exclusive, whereas the latter is available both online and offline. And hence, the Galaxy M series of smartphones like the Galaxy M30s offers much better specifications for a lower price tag than any other Samsung smartphone launched before.

This year, we saw the brand launching Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, and Galaxy M40 in the first half of the year. Later, just before the Diwali festive season, Samsung refreshed two of these models with an ‘s’ moniker such as the Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M30s. But the brand did not update the other two models nor they launched a new model with Galaxy M50 moniker.

Amidst this, the company also launched upgraded models of its Galaxy A series with the same ‘s’ moniker. And these series have been once again refreshed for 2020 with ‘1’ moniker such as Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. Therefore, Samsung will directly launch the Galaxy M51 with model number SM-M515, skipping the Galaxy M50.

Unfortunately, nothing more is known about the upcoming Samsung M51 except for its existence. Anyways, we can expect more information to pop-up on the web, leading to the launch of the smartphone.
