Gmail for Android updates with Anti Phishing Features

Google is rolling out an update for its Gmail for Android app with Anti Phishing features. Google has updating its app Just after few hours of massive phishing attack targeting Gmail users was widely reported.

Once you update your Gmail for Android App to the latest version. When you click on any suspicious link you will get see an warning message. Although this is not a bullet proof method for this issue. As these messages can also appear on some entirely legit website.

Moreover if you are the victim of a Phishing attack than you have to go to your Google connected sites console and revoke access to Google Docs. Than change your Google Account password.

Google says in a blog post that the update will be roll out will be complete in 1-3 days time. So download the latest version of the gmail app from PLay store to use this Anti Phishing feature.
