Google Search 4.0 App With Material Design Displayed

Google is winding up the process of giving Material design to the apps and other services. Talking about the Google Search 4.0 update that is going to come on Android 4.1+ devices. The new update brings bold colors, fluid animations, and simplified layouts to the Search app.

Google is going to get down with many features and those are listed below:

Reminders for your half-baked plans: If you’ve neglected to respond to an email, or forgotten to add an event to your calendar, Search will try to save you from forgetting. Now it will ask you to add reminder to the calendar so that you can’t forget anything.

OK Google from Off Screen: Now you have the ability to search anything even when the screen of your device is switched off.

Finding info in your favorite apps made easy: Google can now help you search for exactly what you need—even if it’s in another app. With a simple prompt like “Ok Google, search Tumblr for ‘Things Organized Neatly’” Google will take you right into the app. This now works with a number of apps, so you can also research the best Maui hotels on TripAdvisor, listen to your jam on TuneIn, find a dream home on Trulia, or get tips on how to carve a turkey on YouTube — right from the Google app. Try it out next time you need a shortcut.

The update is going to roll soon on devices running on Android 4.1+.
