Google To Focus On “mobile friendly” Websites

As we are Moving towards short and compact form of technology and we expect devices to fit in our pockets, Google is also trying to provide user friendly websites. Mostly people today use their mobile phones for viewing web sites and for many such purposes, Google said that mobile users should be able to view web sites on their mobile screens easily .

Web sites that fit in mobile devices of users are more preferred. Hence websites with mobile versions available will be given more priority and will be preferred over other sites.

“We will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results,” Google’s Takaki Makino, Chaesang Jung, and Doantam Phan, said in a statement.

Users will discover more mobile-friendly sites  beginning from April 21.
