Huawei Honor 10 Receives a new Update, Brings Party Mode, May patch and more

A few days back Huawei has revealed its Honor 10 smartphone for India. As revealed by Huawei the key feature of this device is AI and machine learning. The device has a great looking glass sandwich design, a mighty processor, and a clever AI technology behind every process. You can call it a cut-down variant of the top-end Huawei P20 Pro. If you own an Honor 10 device then there is a good news for you. The device has just received an update which brings several improvements to it.

The latest update for the Honor 10 comes with a software version 8.1.0.120 and is based on the up to date Android 8.1.0 Oreo. We are happy to see that how over the days Huawei is becoming responsible by delivering regular software updates for their devices. In case you forgot Huawei was among the list of a few brands that have rolled out Android Oreo update after a few days of release for their smartphones. This new update brings some cool features including Party Mode, Improved AI Camera, etc.

In Party Mode, the device uses NFC to connect to other devices and with it, one can play one song to all other devices having NFC. The Camera functionality has been improved by a considerable amount as it now shows the mode in use. Additionally, to protect your smartphone it brings an all-new May 2018 security patch. No other major changes have been introduced with it and the update is currently in rolling phase. You can manually check the update by going to settings-about phone-software updates.
