Huawei Mate 10 new CAD render leak reveals its design

Huawei is one Chinese OEM that has big ambitions. With the Huawei Mate 10, the company CEO has gone as far as saying it will be better than the upcoming iPhone. Now that is a tall claim. Huawei’s Mate 9 was a great device overall, but this year Huawei will have to pull off something special if it wants to bet its cash against the iPhone 8. The phablet has so long escaped the prying eyes of many a leaksters, surprisingly.

But today, we have a very good hearty look at every angle of the phone courtesy of a leak. The source says the design of the phone is based on factory CAD files. After the first look, we admit we are not enthused with the new design. Huawei has promised an all-screen phone and this doesn’t look like one. Also, the fingerprint sensor now sits on the front instead of the back. The measurements of the device are 150.2 x 77.5 x 8.4mm. Also, there is a headphone jack so, you can heave a sigh of relief if you are a potential buyer.

Also, the device now appears to adorn a glass sandwiched design similar to the Galaxy S8. All in all, if this is the real deal, we’d say we are not impressed. Also, it could also be that there are two variants of the series, just like last year. And this may be a regular screen variant. However, we are willing to wait and see if this is the actual case. Huawei has already stated the unveiling ceremony will take place on October 16th.
