International Samsung Galaxy S2: Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Rolling Out

 

Here’s it comes, International Samsung Galaxy S2 has been receiving Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. Earlier update was scheduled to hit S2 devices in November last year. The new update will be fully rolled to users in coming weeks. Currently users in UK and other European nations (Spain) are getting update. Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 is updating to Android 4.1.2 XWLS8 firmware. Update is rolling out is made available via Kies (Samsung PC Software), as well as you can also pull the update OTA (over-the-air). Here’s details of Android 4.1.2 XWLS8 Official Firmware:

After update users will get all luxuries of Android 4.1.2 like faster performance with project butter, new Nature UX, 2 Home screen modes, Google Now service, contextual search, Better notifications, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Pop-up play. Update also includes Samsung’s S Cloud services, New Lockscreen with many customization options, New Widgets (From Galaxy S3), Free 50GB Dropbox Storage, 2 Home screen modes, New Notification bar with more Notification Toggles.

Samsung Galaxy S2 is receiving Android 4.1.2 version directly, skipping Android 4.1.1, which rolled out to Galaxy S3’s in September last year. Samsung announced Android Jelly Bean update list back in back in September 2012.
