LG G7 One came into the market back in 2018 and is receiving its third and last major Android OS update. With this huge update, LG is withdrawing its smartphone business. The phone came in with Android One at the time of its launch and, likely, it will not receive any further update.

The update comes in with March 2021 security patch and carries several bug fixes. It improves performance and enhances the system stability of the device. The update file size is around 1 GB and comes with “usability improvements through Android 11.” There are no other features that come along with the update, according to the changelog.

Although it is highly doubtful if G7 One will receive any further update even if the company was not quitting the smartphone business. With this major update, G7 One is ending its line of smartphones, and that too with a bang.

The users of LG G7 One are receiving the update in Canada and it is likely to expand to other regions soon in the coming weeks.
