Recently, LG published its roadmap regarding the Android 11 rollout via its German website. According to the plan, most of the devices are set to receive the build later this year. However, several handsets from the company like T-mobile LG V60 ThinQ 5G and LG Velvet 5G have bagged the update. Now, TELUS has confirmed that LG V60 ThinQ is scheduled to receive the Android 11 software in Canada on 31 March.

Initially, LG started rolling out Android 11 for the LG V60 ThinQ in the U.S. Later, it expanded to few other regions, and now the list hits Canada. Similarly, it will go live in different countries at different times. This means that users in certain areas will have to wait even longer to upgrade their smartphones.
The software might carry February 2021 Android security patch along with Android 11 features like chat bubbles, native screen recorder, one-time permissions, smart device and media controls, dark theme schedule, tweaks in the notification panel, and much more.
Also, keep in note that carriers do not guarantee if the update will unfurl on the scheduled date. To keep it simple, it’s just that in case any issue arises, the update might get postponed.
LG V60 ThinQ 5G
The smartphone was officially launched last year in February featuring a 6.8-inch P-OLED display with AOD mode. It powers Android 10 out of the box fueled by Snapdragon 865. The phone provides 128GB and 256GB of storage paired with 8GB of RAM. In terms of camera, it LG V60 ThinQ houses a triple camera module consisting of a 64MP main, 13MP ultrawide, and a 0.3 MP TOF 3D to measure depth. For selfies, it provides a 10MP standard shooter.
