Moto G5S Plus starts getting Android 8.1 Oreo in India

Motorola finally starts rolling out Android 8.1 Oreo update after the long wait. The update is already rolled out in Brazil earlier this month. In India, the update comes with the build number OPS28.65-36 and it weighs about 1.2 GB in size.

Now talking about the update, it packs with all the Oreo goodies like Notification Dots, autofill password manager, picture-in-picture mode, faster boot times, stricter restrictions on background apps, and lots of others. Moreover, Along with all these Moto G5S Plus update packs with the Android security patch for the month of August 2018. Which will improve the stability and performance of the phone.

The update is now on the rollout and you should charge your device up to at least 50%. Also, stay connected to the WiFi network to save some additional costs. The update size is quite big and we also suggest you to free up some space in your device.
