Motorola Edge S launched with 90Hz display and Snapdragon 870 SoC

The Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched a new smartphone named Motorola Edge S in China. The highlighting specifications of the device are – dual selfies shooters, 90Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, 5,000mAh battery, etc. In availability, it comes in Emerald Light and Snow and Mist colors, and the sale of the smartphone is going to start from February 3. Motorola Edge S Specifications

The Dual nano SIM device sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ two hole-punch cutouts display with 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with Adreno 650 GPU. The device is available in 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.

In terms of camera, the device comes with a triple rear camera that equips with 64-MP Primary camera, 16-MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-MP depth sensor. On the front, it sports a 16-MP + 8-MP dual cameras.

Motorola Ede S runs Android 11 based MyUI (Skin) on the top and houses a 5,000mAh battery including fast charging support up to 20W. The connectivity options of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone measures 168.38 x 73.97 x 9.69 mm and weighs nearly 215 grams.
