Motorola MD-02 4K Streaming Dongle spotted at FCC listing!

Motorola has been expanding its product lineup in India. In March 2021, Motorola launched its first Android TV Stick in the Indian market as part of this. The brand unveiled its 4K streaming device with the model number DVM4KA01 for a price tag of Rs 3,999. It is running on Android 9 Pie and offers 16GB of internal storage. It seems like Motorola is working on a successor for the device. A new 4K streaming dongle from Motorola has been spotted on the FCC listing by GoogleChromecast.com. The new device will be a 4K streaming device which will be a ready wireless 4K adapter. The FCC listing reveals the specifications and design of the device. It looks similar to Chromecast with Google TV in design.

The listing document says that it will have the model number MD-02, and it also reveals the device will support 4K streaming. As you can see in the images, there is an HDMI port and USB Type-C ports. The type C port can be used for power or hub connectivity. There is also a Press to Wake up button and a LED light to indicate the power status. The documents also reveal that it has a power rating of 10W. It can be easily paired by scanning a QR code on the TV using a mobile camera.

The dongle can now connect to your phone and will extend to any compatible TV. Other documents have revealed that the dongle can connect two devices at a time. The device will also help you to enjoy a mobile gaming experience on TV. The same will allow making video calls on TV without any issues. Overall, the device will offer a larger workspace without any wire or additional apparatus.

As you can see in the picture, it also houses a logo of Motorola at the center. Since the device already appeared on FCC, the launch of the device will occur soon. However, Motorola is yet to confirm the launch. The upcoming dongle is expected to rival other dongles from Amazon, Google, Realme, and Xiaomi.
