Nexus 5X And Nexus 6P Not Packed With Quick Charge 2.0

Do you remember Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 or 2.0 technology? which was revealed recently with 80% charge in just 30 mins. Yea, it is coming with upcoming Snapdragon processors. Well, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X both are not coming with this technology.

Both the new devices from Google, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will support fast charging via USB Type-C, but they do not incorporate Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0.

Well, both the devices come via a C-to-C cable, users will be prompted with options: Use USB for charging, power supply, photo transfer (PTP) or MIDI (use the device for MIDI input). They can opt to select Power Supply or Charging.

We can expect Quick charge in some upcoming devices having latest Snapdragon hardware on it.
