Nexus 7 Estimated To Hit 6 to 8 million Sales By 2012

According to estimate done by Tech-Thoughts.net, Nexus 7 is estimated to get sales of 6 to 8 million by the end of this year. The Nexus 7 went up for sale in mid-July and the 16GB units were sold out in a week and we heard initial reports of sell outs of the 8GB version in 3 weeks. From this data they estimated by adding some tits bits in the data.

Recently Digitimes also estimated the Nexus 7 sales, which will be nearly 2.9 million by the end of Q3 2012. Nexus 7 is thought to have sold in 600,000 units during July and it should rose to 1.1 and 1.2 million in August and September. But Q4 estimate is having some risk. Apple and Amazon is also scheduled to launch Nexus 7 competitors. So we can’t put trust on Q4 readings.

Do you think the Nexus 7 will in fact sell in 6 million units by the end of 2012?
