OnePlus 10R receiving September 2022 Security Patch via OxygenOS 12 A.09, brings Jio 5G support too

OnePlus is bringing a new firmware update OxygenOS 12 A.09 for the OnePlus10R smartphone. The new update brings September 2022 Security patch along with several fixes and optimizations. It even brings Jio 5G support for devices in India. However, the OxygenOS 13 update is not so far away, the device has already entered Closed Beta testing, and even the Open Beta is out.

OnePlus 10R optimizes the network connectivity and brings Jio 5G connectivity to India. The update bearing firmware IN: CPH2411_11.A.09 is available for the OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition, and the CPH2423_11.A.09 is up for the OnePlus 10R. Updates Android security patch to 2022.09.

Fixes the issue of no notification banner for incoming calls.

Fixes the issue that the shutdown button clicks abnormally in some scenarios.

Fixes the issue that failed to unlock the phone when entering the correct password.

Fixes the issue of screen freezes or flickers when playing online videos in some scenarios.

Network

Optimizes network stability.

Adds Jio to support 5G network.

It is currently rolling out in India, we will update the article once the information about its rollout in other countries arrives.

Note: Regarding the Jio 5G compatibility – Jio 5G network is set to release for the public by this Diwali. It will be available in the four metros of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

It is an incremental update and may take some time to reach each unit. We suggest you wait for up to a couple of days for the update.
