Oneplus 5 starts getting OxygenOS 5.0.2 update with Face Unlock feature

Oneplus starts rolling out Face unlock feature to its Oneplus 5 also. The Face Unlock feature comes with OxygenOS 5.0.2, it is packed with some general bug fixes. Oneplus 5 got the Android Oreo update in December 2017.

OxygenOS 5.0.2 is packed with Face unlock function in Oneplus 5 which debut in Oneplus 5T. Along with this there is CPU security patch: CVE-2017-13218 which is the highlight of the update. We have posted the full change log of the OxygenOS 5.0.2 update.

As this is an OTA update it will take some time to reach each and every user. However, you can also check the update manually by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.

Note: As it is a large update connect to WiFi network before downloading the update. Moreover, charge your phone upto at least 50% before installing the update.
