OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 9R gets OxygenOS 12 C.36 update in India

OnePlus 8 series devices – OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T in India are receiving the OxygenOS 12 C.36 with the October 2022 Security Patch. The update is now rolling out only for the India variants. It also adds support for 5G for all major network carriers in India. Apart from the new security patch, the update also adds some bug fixes.

The incremental update is rolling out with the firmware version IN2011_11.C.36 on OnePlus 8, IN2021_11.C.36 on OnePlus 8 Pro and KB2001_11.C.36 on the OnePlus 8T. Meanwhile, LE2101_11.C.36 is available for OnePlus 9R. Below is the official changelog of the update:

System

• Integrates the October 2022 Android security patch to enhance system security.

Communication

• Jio 5G network is now available.

• Airtel 5G network is now available.

• VI 5G network is now available.

Camera

• Fixes a stutter issue that affects video recording in some scenarios.

It may take some time to reach on each unit as it is a staged update. However, you may head over to About > System Update > Check for system updates.

Additionally, the OnePlus 8 series will get the Android 13 update as the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta is already out.
