OnePlus To Merge Oxygen Os and Hydrogen OS

Here Comes Water, Joke Apart!! OnePlus is going to merge it’s two different OSs based on Android operating System. Oxygen OS, which is meant for AOSP experience on OnePlus devices and Hydrogen OS, which is the Chinese ROM designed to appeal to what that market seems to prefer are going to be merged into single OS.

As per the source, OnePlus is doing so to converge its software working force into one. The company also hopes to improve its support with only one official software package.

Company representative stated to source that:

“The main benefit of combining our team resources is to speed up software updates. We know we have some room to continue improving there, and this is an important step in the right direction.” (emphasis added)

So, finally Oxygen OS will leave some AOSP stuff and will get some new skin. Well, company also added that they will closely watch the user’s views to further understand what they need. So the upcoming OS is going to be hat you guys want it to be.
