Opera for Android updated to Version 7

At Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Opera debuted Opera Mini 7 for Android, and now an updated version of its Opera Mini web browser for Android today. Dubbed as version 7, it is now available for download in Google Play store. It include Opera’s WebGL hardware acceleration that improves on the applications compresses browsing feature called Turbo along with expanding the Speed Dial landing page further than 9 websites. HTML5 Drag and Drop is now supported, which allows for dragging items between Web sites, or to and from the desktop. CSS3 Animations has been added to Opera 12, and support for CSS3 Transitions has been improved.

There’s still a few things holding Opera back. Its customized rendering engine still has trouble on a small but considerable number of websites, owing to Opera’s still tiny share of the desktop browser market.
