Realme 2, C1 and U1 start receiving a new software update with July security patch

Realme has recently rolled out the July security update to plenty of devices including X50 Pro, X50 Pro Player Edition and Realme C2. The company is now pushing the software update to three new devices namely, Realme 2, C1 and U1 respectively. This updates also adds some new features to these smartphones alongside upgrading the security patch. Let’s dive into the details of what this software update brings to the table.

For Realme 2 and Realme C1, the updated comes with Firmware version RMX1805EX_11.A.69 and brings along Realme Link app. With this new app, the users can now control a variety of Realme gadgets that include Realme Watch, Band, and Buds Air. And as usual, the security update fixes bugs and vulnerabilities to enhance your device security.

Moving on to Realme U1, the device gets the update with Firmware version RMX1831EX_11.C.20. With this latest update, Realme U1 gets the Cloud Storage alongside Realme Link app and July security patch. Realme U1 users can now store and retrieve data from anywhere using the cloud storage feature.

It is to note that the OTA update will be rolled out in phases and may take quite some time to reach all the users. You may need to wait patiently until the update arrives via a system notification on your device. In case you need to manually check for the update, navigate through Settings > Software Update.
