Redmi K30 to feature side fingerprint, MIUI 11, 5G dual-band and a lot more

Xiaomi is on the verge to launch the Redmi K30 with a lot of spiced up features. There are plenty of rumours, leaks and renders that have been constantly appearing since last few weeks. A lot of the upcoming smartphone features are out, but still, some are yet to be confirmed by the official renders.

According to recent renders from Xiaomi, the Redmi K30 will feature a next-gen Snapdragon chipset. There will be two Redmi K30 variants – a new Snapdragon 730G will power the 4G version whereas the 5G model will boast the Snapdragon 865G 5G variant.

Moreover, it is set to feature a side fingerprint sensor as revealed by a recent teaser. The new Redmi K30 will ditch the on-screen fingerprint sensor and will instead pack a side-fingerprint measuring a 2.4mm in width. It runs on Android 10 based MIUI 11 with a lot of improved features.

In another teaser, the company reveals 1217 Super Linear speaker for a rich and loud sound. Unlike most of the 5G smartphones, it will feature dual-band 5G support. It also carries an improved GPS for improved and accurate navigation.

Xiaomi is launching the Redmi K30 in China on December 10th. They are sending out invites featuring a skateboard to major media outlets in China.
