The smartphone with a model number M2012K11AC is completely protected with a metal frame around it. Similar to the Horizon Blue Xiaomi Mi 11, the number is visible in pale blue colour. Xiaomi will again use the Samsung E4 panels just like Mi 11 with various improvements such as higher brightness, efficient battery and enhanced picture quality. As claimed by the company before, the phone consists of the world’s smallest punch-hole which is about 2mm in diameter.

The rear houses an elongated version of a triple camera setup similar to that of Mi 11. The vertically aligned camera carries a large lens at the top followed by one small and another large lens at the bottom. Also, along with triple sensors, the camera module indulges a microphone in middle. Additionally, it has a pill-shaped LED flash beside the camera.

Moreover, Xiaomi has claimed that the K40 will be flaunting Hi-Res Audio along with Hi-Res Audio Wireless. As disclosed earlier, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC. Now the General Manager exposed that Dolby Atmos will be supported as well.
