Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40 Pro+ Launched officially with Snapdragon SoCs and 120Hz AMOLED Display

One of the leading Chinese smartphone brand – Xiaomi, has officially released the Redmi K40 Series. The line up includes Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro, and Redmi K40 Pro+. Talking about the price, the Redmi K40 costs around CNY 1,999 (Approx. Rs. 22,527), while Redmi K40 Pro carries a price tag of CNY 2,799 (Approx. Rs. 31,547), and last but not least, the Redmi K40 Pro+ is priced at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 41,690). However, the prices may vary based on the variants. The sale of the smartphone is going to start on March 4. In the meanwhile, interested users can also pre-book the Redmi K40 Series from the official website.

It sports a 6.67-inch FHD+E4 AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 1,300 nits brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it powered an octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC Chipset. The device is available in four variants – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option, and lastly, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

There’s a triple rear camera that equips with a 48-MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor, 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-MP macro lens for photography. On the front, it comes with a 20-MP camera for selfies and video calling.

The device runs Android 11 based MIUI 12 (Skin) out of the box. There’s a 4,520 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the board include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, etc. It also equips with an in-display fingerprint sensor and double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
