Samsung January Security Patch is Ready

Samsung has annocuned that January patch is on the way for many Samsung Devices. They have published on the bulletin board about the january Security Update.

The software update for the month addresses 67 CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) in Android as well as 28 more patches are on the way. This new update even packs fixes for Exynos 8895 and Snapdragon 835 chipsets.

This Security Maintenance process (SMR) takes place mostly every month by Google. Even, OEMs provides Security updates to their devices which are affected by the security bugs. The update will come as normal updates to the devices which are prone to the fixed security bugs.

Additionally, Today Google rolled out Android January Security patch for Nexus devices.
