Realme XT starts receiving January Security Patch in India

After the recent rollout of Realme UI on Realme XT, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has started rolling out a new update based on January Security Patch. The update also fixes several bugs and improves the performance of the Realme XT.

The firmware version RMX1921EX_11_A.16 packs the latest Android security patch along with a fix for the VoLTE call drop on Reliance Jio Network. The new optimizations will enhance the security and the performance of the device.

The update is rolling out for all the Realme XT units, but it will take some time to reach each unit. The interested users who can’t resist tasting the latest Android Update on Realme XT, the company has provided download links to manually flash it.

It is advised to keep your device charged before installing the update. It is recommended to switch to the WiFI network to save additional carrier costs. Moreover, the users can manually check the update by heading to Settings>System Updates>Check for Updates.

Realme XT recently received Realme UI and various new features. An update dated back to November brought Nightscape for the front camera along with the respective security patch.

Realme XT Features

Realme XT packs a 6.4-inch bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 Octa-Core processor. There is a Quad camera module featuring 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera. A 4000 mAh battery with VOOC charging v3.0 is present in the device.
