Samsung Rolling out February Security Patch for its Galaxy J7 Prime

Samsung is rolling out new update to its Galaxy J7 Prime. The includes the February Android Security Patch, the update comes with build number for the update is G610FDDU1AQA2.  The update also includes some performance improvements.

The update is rolling out as OTA. So if you did not get the update notification yet don’t panic, It will reach you in couple of days time. However you can always check the update notification by going through the settings of the Phone.

For a reminder, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. There’s a 13MP camera at the back and an 8MP selfie shooter, it has a 3300mAh battery, and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Moreover, it might get the Android 7.0 NOugat update in coming months.
