T-Mobile LG V10 starts getting Android 7.0 Nougat update

The first ever LG V series device that pioneered the secondary display has come of age. Released in 2015, the LG V10 now receives Android Nougat for T-Mobile. Elsewhere the device has already received the update for unlocked versions.

The update will hit the device soon enough with the build number H90130b. It should be around 1 GB. Since it is an OS update. Android Nougat will do a world of good to the big phone by bringing split-screen multitasking. The Notification quick reply is a feature users won’t be able to live without once they’ve experienced it. And under the ground, battery optimization will help the veteran device achieve better stand by times. Nougat also brings quick settings to the notification shade, a simplified settings screen and much more.

Our regular advice for you here will include backing up your device first since this is a big update, preferably keep the device in charge if not at 100%, and a trusty Wi-Fi network. Elsewhere, we are getting ready to see the third iteration of the V-series.
