T-Mobile rolls out Android 8.0 Oreo Update for Galaxy S7/S7 Edge

Samsung has just released Android 8.0 Oreo update for the global variant of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. In case you don’t know in the U.S market almost all carriers including Sprint, AT&T, Verizon have already rolled out the update to the handsets. If you are a T-Mobile subscriber, then today we are having a good news for you. T-Mobile has started the rollout of Android Oreo update for their Galaxy S7 units.

All the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge units belonging to T-Mobile network are receiving the fresh Android 8.0 Oreo update. The update comes with a firmware version G930TUVU4CRF1 and weighs mammoth at 1.7GB. We would suggest you use a fast Wi-Fi network to download it. The installing processor will take around 10 minutes to install the update correctly. After that, a user will be able to enjoy the new features associated with Android Oreo.

After installing the update a user will be able to use the latest custom UI from Samsung known as the Samsung Experience 9.0 based on Android Oreo. New features including Adaptive icons, Multi-window, etc are now available on the device. All existing bugs have been fixed with this update and some internal refinements have also been made.
