Verizon Moto G Getting Android 4.4.4 Update

After, UK, India, Brazil and other unlocked variants in the U.S. now it’s time for Verizon Locked Moto G to get Android 4.4.4 Kitkat update. Users in the US having Locked Verizon Moto G are receiving the update on their devices.

Few lucky users have already received the update but now Motorola has announced officially via its twitter handle about the rollout. The update will bring camera fixes, bundled Alert Application and below listed features:

  • Accuracy improvements to power profile
  • Stability, framework, and security fixes including update to OpenSSL
  • Added the ability to pause video recording with a convenient pause/resume button on the viewfinder
  • Updated Phone dialer with a new graphical layout and colors to improve consistency and usability
  • New Motorola Alert application sends periodic alerts with your location to your selected contacts. Now available for download from the Google Play Store

If you haven’t received the update until now then manually check for the update by going through the settings >> About >> system updates.
