WhatsApp is going to add Message Quotes and Replies features to its app. As they are currently testing the Whatsapp 2.16.118 Beta which have both the these features in it. You can see these features in Whatsapp stable version sometime soon.
The quote feature can be used reply to one-on-one and group chats within WhatsApp. Once you select a message you want to quote, the feature will appear next to the other option: Star, reply, copy, info, forward and delete. And with that you can quote any participant in a chat, including yourself, and that media messages show up along with their preview inside the quote. That’s sweet. You can also reply with that Quote also.

If you want to test these features you have to install Whatsapp 2.16.118 Beta which is available directly on APK Mirror. You may also get this feature by joining Play Store Beta and download the app there. If you did not get these features even then, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
