ZTE Axon 7 Starts Getting Android 7.0 Nougat Update with Google Daydream Support

ZTE Axon 7 Starts getting the Android Nougat update with Google’s VR Daydream Support. ZTE has as low as $50 its own VR headset. With this update ZTE Axon 7 joins the Moto Z and Google Pixel as the only phones with support for Daydream.

The Android Nougat update on Axon 7 includes the all the goodies of Nougat. For example New Multi-window allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side. More personalized settings and smarter notifications allow users to be more productive with less effort. It also includes the enhanced version of Doze.

Along with all these features ZTE includes the partnership with Hiya i.e a caller ID platform that specializes in identifying spam and robocalls. Company in its press release said that the update will start rolling out form today onwards. So if you did not get the update notification yet then don’t panic it will reach you in couple of days time. In Meantime you can always check it manually by going through the settings of the phone.
