Actions on Google to get support for UK English

Actions on Google is ready to get support for new language along with the already present US English. Now, developers can use the UK English accent for their own personalised actions integrations into the Google Assistant. Currently, only few developers are using this feature to extend the Assistant functionality to third party apps.

In order to increase the follow or to encourage development, Google introduced a competition with cash prizes to anyone making compelling actions. So, these kind of things obviously encourage developers to adopt new technologies. We think that by the end of this year Actions on Google will get huge bump in the development.

Currently, Google didn’t mentioned any exact date when they will officially start supporting the British English. Further, it is said that other language will be introduced “over the coming months”.

Well, Actions on Google are going to get big with the introduction of new language to the program.

Later than sooner, you guys will be getting the support for UK English. Do let us know when you receive the support for new language.
