Amazon Introduces Echo Show with touch screen and Alexa calling

As reported earlier, Amazon on Tuesday, has finally introduced the Echo Show. It is the latest and smartest speaker with an integrated 7-inch touchscreen and intelligent voice assistant, Alexa.

The new Amazon Echo Show with a touchscreen is capable of streaming videos and while music is playing, it shows song lyrics on the screen. You can stream YouTube videos, photos and other visual contents using its decent screen. The device also houses a front-facing camera above the screen and a hefty speaker at the bottom. It has eight microphones, so that it never misses your voice commands.

You can now use voice commands to make calls to family and friends who have an Echo or the Alexa App with an all new voice and video calling service, Alexa Calling. This device, just like previous Echo devices can control your smart home with your voice commands.

The Amazon Echo Show is available for pre-order in Black and White color variants. Pre-orders start today for $229.99 from Amazon and the product ships on June 28th.
