Google Chromecast: Stream Video On TV From Any Device

Google has launched another useful device, Google Chromecast. It allows you to stream video on your TV from any device wirelessly. Only you need is a Chromecast which available from the Play Store for $35.

It turns every TV into a Smart TV, but it lets you control it through whatever device you’re on rather than providing a new interface. It supports Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Movies and TV, and Google Play Music. Google will soon tie up with other services like Pandora, etc.

Chromecast, a USB thumb drive works over HDMI. In order to use it you need to plug this into your TV, sign into your WiFi, and you’re all set.

You can connect to it with an Android, iOS, Windows, or Mac OS X app to pair it with your home Wi-Fi network. Checkout the video below for more clear view about it:

Its hardware supports 2.4 GHz WiFi 802.11.  The internal processor is capable of playing back full 1080p video with 5.1 surround sound.

Currently it is available in the US only but Chromecast is coming to other countries soon.
