Google Duo audio calling now live globally for all users

Google Duo, only video calling app from Google for span of few months. Last month, Google did change to the app and allowed only voice calls or audio calls only. First, they tested it in Brazil by launching it in the month of March.

Today, Duo’s principal engineer Justin Uberti took to Twitter to formally announce that audio calls are now available worldwide to all Duo users. The voice Calling option is now available in the version 9.1.1516. The free voice calling app is now available from the Google Play Store or App Store, but in case it hasn’t shown up yet, they can also grab the update via APKMirror.

This is not the first time that any company added only voice chat to the video chat software. Skype did it for the first time and Facetime for the first time.

Already Google is giving VOice calls via Google Hangouts and Google Voice.

Well users who want to use the Duo voice calling feature can over to the Play Store or above APK Mirror link to download the apk.
