Google Maps update with new Material Design UI lands in the Play Store

Google is rolling out a significant update to the Google Maps with new Material UI. The new update has brought in major changes to the User Interface of the App. You can now update your Google Maps app by going to the Play Store. also, if you have not received it yet, then we have also added a link below for you guys.

Many features, which were announced at Google IO 2018 are now rolling out in a phasing manner to different times via different updates. The latest has added a new user Interface abiding the rules of Material Design. The update is said to be rolling out from the server side but there’s might be a catch with version also.

We suggest you to keep updated your app for the new features to rollout with any issue.

Many things have been changed in the new version of the Google Maps. Users can see new buttons, layouts and fonts which are more brighter and cleaner than earlier. The ease of using the app is also increased with the relocation of the buttons position. From the square buttons, the focus has shifted to round buttons.

Also, there’s a tab for personal recommendations, which is also an important feature of this update.
